Are you an Athletics Coach / Coach in Running Fitness, Level II qualified Coach In another Sport, or hold a sports leadership award?
Do you have a passion for working with children of primary school age – and want to be part of a unique movement to bring funetics (fun and inclusive athletics programme for 4-11 year olds to learn and develop in run, jump, throw all year round) into the lives of Children and their families in Birmingham and the West Midlands?
We are seeking a coaching delivery team of exceptional individuals, who have core coaching, leadership and community engagement skills.
Based within Birmingham extending out to the West Midlands, we are seeking a team to deliver on our ambitious Commonwealth Legacy programme from February 2024 – August 2024.
This role would suit University Students, part time workers or those that have a flexible working patterns and are 18+.
The role will require you to work some weekends, early evenings, and University / School Holidays
On average you could be coaching upto 10 hours per week, and 30hours per week in the School Holidays (dependant on number of after school clubs, satellite centres, and events) a full programme of these will be provided.
This role will require you to be an active coach/ leader within Birmingham City and beyond, delivering funetics within community settings, after schools clubs, Holiday Camps and delivering the funetics action zone at events and festivals.
Rate of pay
Qualified Athletics Coach / Cirf / or Level II Coach in another sport £25.00 per hour
Assistant Coach Athletics / or Level I Coach in another sport £15.00 an hour
Sports leader / Leading funetics £10 per hour
